  • Master Bedroom: Required 3 kW cooling capacity based on room dimensions and exposure
  • Children’s Bedrooms: Each needed a 2 kW cooling capacity
  • Living Room: Required 3 kW cooling capacity for effective climate control

Structural Considerations

The modern construction of Cedar House enabled us to plan an installation that complemented the home’s design. We worked with existing building features to:

  • Position outdoor units discreetly
  • Route pipework efficiently

Our Technical Solution

We customised the air conditioning solution by combining two separate Mitsubishi systems. The design enhanced efficiency while providing precise cooling control for each required room.

Using Mitsubishi’s advanced Zen range, we created a dual-system approach. The master bedroom received a dedicated 3 kW split system, providing complete control over the sleeping environment. A multi-split system connected the children’s bedrooms and living room to meet the remaining climate control needs.

Master Bedroom Installation

The master bedroom received a standalone Mitsubishi Zen wall-mounted unit. This 3 kW system provides:

  • Independent Climate Control: The split system design allows temperature adjustment without affecting other rooms, which is particularly valuable when family members have varying comfort preferences
  • Efficient Operation: The 3 kW unit delivers optimal cooling power for the master bedroom’s dimensions, positioned to distribute conditioned air evenly throughout the space

Multi-System Configuration

For the remaining areas, we installed a multi-split system comprising:

  • Children’s Bedrooms: Each bedroom received a 2 kW white Zen wall-mounted unit, sized to provide comfortable sleeping conditions while maintaining energy efficiency
  • Living Room Setup: The living room installation featured a 3 kW white Zen unit, selected specifically for effectively cooling larger communal spaces
